My very final theory of the Kennedy assassination

At some point it is necessary to stop and this is the last post of the JFK assassination. The plot might make a good novel or a movie, but such a novel or a movie would not be published. We can see it from Piper’s book. Therefore a short post will suffice. This is my theory basically in the sense that I think it is correct, not in the sense that I invented everything here. Indeed, the final mob shooting scenario was almost entirely proposed by commentator Iris in The Unz Review.

First we have to prove that there was a conspiracy. This we can do by showing that there was a cover-up and then finding out what was covered-up.

The cover-up can be proven beyond any doubt by the Dictabelt and the Audiograph. The police used two channels: Channel 1 is recorded in the Dictabelt and Channel 2 is in the Audiograph. In all known copies of the Audiograph there is the clear phrase where Sheriff Decker says “Hold everything secure…” a long time after the assassination. In all known copies of the Dictabelt there is the unclear phrase “Hold…”. It is difficult to hear what is said there because motorcycle noise covers most of the speech. In 1979 a record containing the recordings of the Dictabelt and Audiograph was added to a magazine and Steve Barker announced that these signals are the same. He heard that the phrase in the Dictabelt also said “Hold everything secure…”. This become the accepted truth: the voice of Sheriff Decker in Channel 2 was overheard to Channel 1 and this makes it possible to synchronize the recordings: the unclear phrase “Hold…” was spoken a long time after the assassination and no impulses close to this phrase can be sounds of the gunshots.

This is the history, but I applied a passband filter to the Dictabelt and I could hear what is said in the unclear phrase “Hold…”. It says “Hold it up right there”. This is a part of the longer speech that goes “I get it…get out of there, over here…Hold it up right there, we’re gonna do it…I, I’ve got it, let’s see if you get it (or it may be: hope your arse that yo’ll get it)”. This is definitely not the same as what Decker is saying “Hold everything secure until the homicide and other investigators get here”. I can show that the phrases are not the same by breaking the phrases into smaller parts, as in this video

The video also shows a place where one of the signals has a visible word break but the other does not. I give a more mathematical proof that the phrases are not a crosstalk in the paper

The proof is that the signal power is not reduced by subtracting one signal (weighted with any number) from the other. So, we can conclude that it is proven that this is not a crosstalk: the phrases are different. Steve Barkes was mistaken.

This is yet not a proof of a cover-up. So far it is only a mistake, but look at the two signals in the cover page of the video above. The upper signal is from the Audiograph from the phrase “Hold everything secure…” and the lower plot is from a corresponding place from the Dictabelt signal “Hold…” where some motorcycle noise has been filtered out by a passband filter. The lower plot is human speech and it looks like human speech. The upper plot is very regular and it does not look like human speech. However, the main frequency is the same in both plots. The upper gives only one spectrum line for the interval 3.26-3.3s, while the lower plot has the main frequency and many other frequencies. Yet, if we calculate a correlation between these obviously different signals in the frequency domain, they correlate quite well as the main frequency is the same.

That is, this kind of changes to the signal of the Audiograph have the result that in the frequency domain the signals correlate quite highly. They do not correlate as well in the time domain but very revealingly, the crosstalk was „proven” by a correlation measure in the frequency domain.

The tampering of the signal is very clear. We also know that this tampering was done before the audio lab used by the HSCA gave its report in 1979 since they comment in the report that the crosstalk has strange regularities. There are three possible times when the signal was tampered:
1) in 1963. There could have been an internal FBI investigation of the Dictabelt and the Audiograph signal was tampered at that time. Yet, this investigation was kept secret since tampering can be found by signal analysis. Maybe therefore nobody wanted to tell about the planted crosstalk.
2) in 1979 before making the record from which Steve Barber found the crosstalk. If so, then either Barber or somebody else was planned to find the crosstalk. Steve Barber is a JFK researcher who also plays drums, and he contributed to the research on the side of the official theory. He may have participated in the investigation before the record was made, or may not have. He may not have anything to do with the tampering. If so, had he not found the crosstalk, somebody who knew of the tampering had done it.
3) in 1979, after making the record. In this scenario Steve Barber found what he thought sounded like a crosstalk. It was not a crosstalk, but it was made to look like one by tampering.
I think the most likely alternative is 2), but all are theoretically possible.

So far we have proven that there was a cover-up in 1979. This cover-up is still goind on, which is shown by the response that the members of the Scientific Panel of 1979 gave to the paper of Donald B. Thomas. This published response makes clearly faulty claims and it must be intentional: competent researchers could not fail to see the tampering, nor could they make the faulty claims that I discuss in the above linked paper.

The next step is to prove that there was a conspiracy. Because there is tampering in the Audiograph to shift the timing of the Dictabelt, we can assume that there is something in the Dictabelt. The most natural place to look for gunshots is close to the bell that rings once, like it would say 12:30. This is indeed a place where we can find gun shot type impulses. I went through the whole Dictabelt looking for impulses and there is only one place that can possibly correspond to the gun shots as shown in the Zapruder film. The only possibility is that the impulse at 58.8s is the head shot in the Zapruder frame 313. This is because after this impulse there are no more impulses. (The impulse at 58.8s can contain two impulses, 58.8 and 58.9, but we go to this later, in the signal it looks like one impulse.)

I looked for the impulses by going to the frequency domain. A gunshot is an impulse type sound. That means that it has very wide spectrum. The digitazed recording that I used  were recorded from the Youtube with the Audicity tool.

In the Dictabelt the impulse has first passed through air, then recorded by a microphone, and then tansferred by a wireless radio channel. The high frequencies are attenuated by the radio channel, but the channel does not cut off higher frequencies totally: if one signal has more power in the high frequencies than another signal in the sensed side, it has more power in high frequencies that the other also in the receiving end. Low frequencies are not carried well by the air and they are attenuated by the communication network.

So, how should a gunshot look like? Low frequencies are attenuated, so in the power spectrum a gunshot power intensity grows from a zero value at zero Hz to a high value around 1600 HZ and then slowly goes down. It depends on the gun type where the maximum is, but the maximum is not important here as there is motorcycle noise and it goes to well over 3000 HZ. Human voice goes a bit over 3000 Hz, but in a gunshot spectrum, power intensity stays quite high up to 19 HZ, which is maximum frequency you can get from Audicity as it takes samples from the sound. The maximum frequency of digital sound is half of the sampling frequency. Other noises can go as high, but not human voice, not normal motorcycle noise (unless there is a bang from the exhaust pipe) but of course there can be some impulse type noise. In the Dictabelt there are several impulse sounds, I went through them all. Some are electronic shocks, probably from the radio, they are short. Then there are beeps when radios ask for a channel. There is a bell, a long sound, not an impulse.

A further indication if an impulse is a gunshot or not is its impulse length. A gunshot has two very fast impulses, one when the gunpowder explodes and the second when the bullet leaves the pipe, but a microphone cannot follow these impulses. What we can see is an average impulse of the vibrations after the shot. It is about 1-2 ms long. This signal length can be seen from the inverse of the periodicity of the power spectrum.

I found three impulses from the Dictabelt that clearly looked like gunshots: 58.8s, 55,6s and 52.5s. Additionally I found three possible gunshot signals: 53.2s, 53.8s and 55.8s, (I am actually not sure if 53.8s is an impulse, originally I did not include it, we can forget it) and two impulses much earlier: 44s, 45.3s that I initially though are not related to gunshots, but they did look like gunshots. There were some other impulses, but they were either too long or too short, or did not have a thick tail.

Let us now take the Zapruder film. The FBI measured that the overall speed of the film was 18 fps. It can vary, so it could be 17.4-18.6 fps easily. Nevertheless, if we set the impulse 58.8s to the head shot in the frame 313, the impulse 52.5s must be around the frame 200. JFK is still visible in the frame 205, he goes behind the traffic sign in the frame 206 and emerges again in frame 225. JFK is not hit in 205. Thus, the first shot at 52.5s must be a miss. (Unless the Zapruder film misses frames and the car stopped behind the traffic sign. That would alone be a proof of a conspiracy, so we assume this is not the case.) JFK is shot in the frame 225, long before the shot at 55.6s (around frame 254). This means that there had to be a fourth shot between the shots at 52.5s and 55.6s. This is a definite proof of a conspiracy.

Notice that there is red in Connally’s shoulder in the frame 241. This can be painted. There is evidence that some small editions were made to the Zapruder film. For instance, JFK’s head does not show a large wound in the back of the head as it should. (Connally most probably was shot in the time 55.8s.)

Now we have a proof of the cover-up and the conspiracy. Let us continue to finding a scenario that explains all known facts. There has to be such a scenario and if our scenario does not explain all known facts, it must be false. If your scenario explains all facts, it may be correct or incorrect, as there can be many scenarios that explain all facts, but at least it is not possible to show it wrong.

The best fact from which to start is the MC rifle in the 6th floor of the TSBD building. The problem with this rifle is that it had a defective sight: it was shooting a few inches to the up and right. The problem with this is to understand why a sniper would use a gun with a defective sight. That is, a lone nut Oswald might have learned to shoot with a rifle with a defective sight and been to crazy and lazy not to buy a working sight when preparing to shoot the US President, but this was a conspiracy, we have proof for it. A conspiracy would find a competent shooter, a top sniper. Oswald was a sniper, but not of the top class. He was downstairs buying coke. He was not the top sniper. The problem is why would a top sniper shoot the president with a gun that has a defective sight and how did he manage to hit JFK to the head?

I take this defective sight issue because it is a strange thing and strange circumstances often lead to strange scenarios. Strange scenarios are easily too strange to be true, and we are back to question the premises: did a top sniper shoot with the MC rifle at all? If the answer is negative, we go a good step forward in the research.

The MC rifle is a military weapon and it is not at all likely that the sight could have been destroyed after the shooting e.g. by hitting the gun to the ground. They are solidly built weapons, soldiers treat their guns in a rough way. This sight was defective before the assassination. The second fact is that Oswald was working in the TSBD building. After the assassination he went home, took his revolver and false ID and tried to escape, possibly shot Police officer Tippet and when caught Oswald said he is made a patsy. Clearly, Oswald was not an innocent bystander.

The most logical explanation is that Oswald had taken the MC rifle to the 6th floor. However, Oswald was not shooting in the 6th floor: he was buying coke downstairs and possibly he was photographed outside looking at the motorcade. There is a testimony that Oswald did not come down the stairs from the 6th floor.

Was there a shooter in the 6th floor? Most probably not. Nobody was shooting with a rifle with a defective sight and making a bulls eye to JFKs head on the third shot. This is the most natural conclusion. If we think somebody hit JFK to the head with this gun, we have to assume the shooter got signs how far off the gun shoots. That would be signs from the Umbrella team. While this is theoretically possible, it would be very unusual. The best guess is that nobody shot JFK with this gun.

Consider the implications of there being a rifle in the TSBD but nobody shoot JFK with the gun. Oswald worked in the building and tried to run after the assassination. What scenario can explain these facts?

Oswald took the gun to the 6th floor, nobody shot JFK with the gun, but there were three casings and Oswald though he was made a patsy. These all are explained easily: Oswald was in an abort team, as his girlfriend told, he took a rifle with a destroyed sight and two dummy bullets to the 6th floor where the assassin was expected to use them to shoot JFK. Oswald let another member of the abort team to the building. He was expected to arrest the sniper when the sniper takes a shot (with a dummy bullet) to JFK. Only, the abort team was scam. The person went to the 6th floor and fired the rifle twice without aiming, at 44s and 45.3s when the Zapruder film has a pause so that we cannot see what the Secret Service men did when hearing the shots. These shots were dummies. They were shot in order to get two casings. One casing the man took from his pocket. It was from a test bullet when Oswald had checked that the sight for sure points up and right. Now we have a reason for the two impulses in the Dictabelt at 44s and 45.3s, they were gunshots, but of dummies.

Oswald was quite satisfied hearing these shots, as he thought that the sniper was caught trying to shoot JFK before the car turned to Elms street, but in a short time he would see or hear of the real assassination. Then he knew the abort team was scam and he was made a patsy.

The real assassins did not use TSBD at all. Two shooters were in the Dal-Tex building. It is also in the back looking from JFK’s position, but a bit further. It is easier to understand how a sniper would miss the first shot if he was further. One shooter was at the South Knoll. He had to shoot through the window screen, so the shot was not certain. The reserve shooter was at the Grassy Knoll. They had the Umbrella team to tell if more shots were needed. This team had an umbrella man showing the place where the team was and a dark complexion man, who showed hand signs. The sign they finally showed was more shots as JFK was still alive when their time to signal came. Notice that Zapruder most probably was in the conspiracy. He was to film it. He positioned himself so that the killing was expected to happen when the limousine was behind the traffic sign. The film would have been used as a proof that Oswald was the shooter, but as JFK was still alive and the reserve shooter had to hit JFK to the back, the film was kept out of the public eye for a long time: it showed how JFK falls.

The first shot from Dal-Tex was a miss, at the Zapruder frame 196, time 52.5s. Frame 197 is blurred, so this is the natural time for the shot. The second shot was at the Zapruder frame 209, time 53.2s. This shot came from the South Knoll and went through the window screen. JFK got a piece of glass to his throat. The gun used most probably had a silencer, which is why the impulse is weaker. The next two shots came from Dal-Tex at 55.6s and 55.8s. One was a rifle, one had a silencer. One hit JKF to the back, the other hit Connally. The purpose of shooting at the same time with an non-silenced rifle and a silenced one is to give the impression that Oswald was the only shooter. We discard the possible impulse at 53.8s, it never was in my original identification of impulses.

The last shot on the head in frame 313, time 58.8s came from Dal-Tex, but the way JFK falls proves that there was a shot at 58.9s from the Grassy Knoll. The Grassy Knoll shooter counted the shots and when he heard the fifth, he fired a mercury bullet. As mercury does not disappear, this explains why JFKs brain disappeared.

The testimony of James Files reveals identity of two of the shooters: Files was the Grassy Knoll shooter and Charles Nicoletti was the rifle man in Dal-Tex. The third shooter may have been Marshall Caifano. Naturally Files may only have heard the correct story. There is an argument against the testimony of Files: he explains how he bit the casing and a casing was found, but the stamp on the casing is from a newer model that was sold since the later 1970ies. I find this argument weak since it is not proven that casings with the new stamp were not made already in 1963 for special customers. The machine producing casings with the old and new stamp must have been different. It is reasonable to assume that the one producing the newer stamp was a better machine making better ammunition. Such better ammunition may have been available for some customers, though they were not sold to the public.

Next we have to go to the abort team. There is evidence that there was an abort team and the abort team killed JFK. Oswald thought he was in the abort team, but Oswald must have been in the original assassination team if he took the MC rifle to the 6th floor. A scenario that explains all facts is that Oswald was a CIA agent, who tried to infiltrate pro-Castro groups. He managed to infiltrate himself into a plot where some CIA operatives were trying to assassinate JFK in Dallas. They intended to use a Corsican sniper, either Jean Souetre or Lucien Sarti as the single shooter from the TSBD building. Oswald told of the plot to someone high, possibly to the counterintelligence chief James Jesus Angleton, whose job it was to catch Communist spies within the CIA. For Oswald the plot to kill JFK must have seemed like a Communist plot. Angleton did not plan any abort operation or assassination of JFK, but he probably mentioned it to his Mossad friends. These friends told it to the CIA operative who created the false abort team and got Oswald to take a disabled rifle to the 6th floor. It is quite natural that the Corsican sniper had to be caught red-handed: he was in the USA, in the Dallas area, but could not be charged of anything. He did not have a gun. They had to wait for the sniper to take a shot on JFK, but naturally with dummies and a defective sight. Oswald ordered the rifle by mail and got the sight destroyed by local CIA guys, who kept the casing and the bullet used in the test. This casing later was put to the 6th floor and the bullet was found falling from Connally’s leg, or so the story goes.

The names Souetre and Sarti appear in several warnings of the assassination plot and E. Howard Hunt also gives the name Sarti. They belonged to the French Connection, drug smuggling with the CIA and political assassinations. Angleton later gave out Hunt, which shows that Angleton knew of the original assassination plot, but probably not of the abort team part. Hunt gave LBJ as the top man on the plot.

Finally let us conclude who gave the order and why? It is easy because there is the long term cover-up that still continues as the response to the paper by Donald Thomas shows. LBJ is dead, the Soviet Union has disappeared, Castro cannot make a cover-up in American science and media, neither can the mob, Meyer Lansky, or event the CIA, while all these had a role in the assassination. There is exactly one group that can do this kind of a cover-up. The reason is also simple to find. One only needs to look what changed in the USA policy after the successful assassination of the President. There are not many possibilities and combining the group that can do the cover-up we can point to the Dimona atomic reactor.

That is about all I can say if this incidence. I think it is all proven, quite strong way.
